Our feet are wet, not yet firmly planted in soil.
So, we've basically been running at full speed for the last couple weeks since we opened our doors. And it's been great! We've had a number of different groups in the studio on almost a daily basis. Special Friend, a group of young art students from different places around the twin cities, have been our longest running session. We've been working on a 6 song EP for them, and it's turning out fantastic! We're all very impressed with their level of commitment and refinement of songwriting for such young musicians. Very cool to be around that kind of charisma.
Some of the other groups have been a collection of artists that we got to know through McNally Smith.Young Lust, Twinky Jiggles, The Shadows and a few others. Clarety Drive, a local pop/rock group that has a lot of promise has been a project of ours since before we opened Ghost Note Recording, has been overdubbing to finish their 5 song EP before this coming winter.
We're hoping to start our monthly podcasts very soon, so make sure to keep an eye out for more info on that. On that (note) make sure to scope our twitter page we'll be updating that on a daily basis.
